Finsbury Park in north London is a neighbourhood where three boroughs and four high streets collide at a major transport hub - at the heart of which is a major public park of the same name. It is home to a vibrant community and diverse population, a rich mix of businesses and places of cultural significance to London’s different faith communities, lovers of the arts and fans of Arsenal Football Club.

In 2017, All Change commissioned artists Sarah Butler – writer, and Marysa Dowling – photographer, to devise a project, which would see the community tell its own story. Through a process of portrait-making, conversation and walking, Sarah and Marysa explored the changing urban fabric of the area, uncovering and celebrating creativity, culture and acts of making. Who Makes Finsbury Park? captures and celebrates the culture and energy of Finsbury Park at a time of change.
