GENERATIONS
Older people from All Change, students from Central School of Speech and Drama, and children from Islington Play Association will come together this summer for a unique intergenerational project exploring Impro, creativity and play.
Building on an ongoing collaborative project between students and older people - which has worked with All Change, Improbable, CSM [University of the Arts - Central St. Martins], Camden People’s Theatre and Claremont Project - this new project introduces a 3rd generation.
Starting during WORD2021, this project will bring together 3 generations for a series of impro workshops over the summer months, building relationships, understanding, creative skills and confidence. They will work towards a series of public improvised performances In October, taking place during WORD2021 Autumn and to celebrate the International Day of the Older Person.
