Reel Deals 3 2006-07

A programme of filmmaking projects for young people aged 5-18 including young carers, young people with learning disabilities and an after schools play project, resulting in the creation of 3 new short films premiered at the Curzon Soho and Rio cinemas.

Reel Deals 2 2004-05

A programme of 3 young people’s filmmaking projects including work with young parents aged 15+ (which later won First Light’s Best Documentary Award 2005); young refugees and asylum seekers aged 5-13 living in temporary accommodation; and physically disabled school students aged 13-15.  The films were premiered at the Curzon Soho cinema.

Reel Deals programme 2003-04

5 filmmaking projects with different groups of young people: Hilldrop area estates; Deaf Visual youth group; A4 youth club; N1 Connections youth club; and Double Impact Crew.  The programme of films was premiered at the Screen on the Green cinema in Islington.
