Suzanne became All Change’s Artistic Director in 2006. Her relationship with the company began much earlier in 1991, with a six-month voluntary trainee role on the Hilldrop Community Festival in Islington.

From 1991-2006 she worked as a freelance community artist and project director, alongside and in collaboration with some exceptional artists and partners, for both All Change and arts companies in London and across the UK; providing her with rich, varied and valuable experiences, building her understanding of and practice in socially engaged arts and what it can achieve.

Her vision and leadership of the the organisation is shaped by her belief in and commitment to arts activism and the essential role arts and culture play in building connection, empathy and understanding between people. She is committed to collaboration and partnership; being ambitious for communities and artists; and in using the arts to achieve a more equal society.

An arts activist and combined-arts practitioner - specialising in photography, video, installation and live arts in her own practice, Suzanne has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art – Middlesex Polytechnic [1986-89] and an MA in Public Art – Chelsea School of Art [1992–93]. She is a founding member of #Islington4Women.
