ReCreate mixes creative family activities in a range of art forms and is designed and run by young parents and artists together – supporting the development of skills and friendships. Work under this umbrella is delivered in partnership with Islington Library and Heritage Services who provide storytelling and access to their collections, and with other arts and cultural partners including Sadler’s Wells, Arsenal in the Community, House of Illustration and Autograph ABP – who provide opportunities for visits to shows and exhibitions, as well as workshops and stadium tours. In 2017, All Change began this regular offer for young parents and their children with support from BBC Children in Need. This programme provides parents of both Inspire and ReCreate age groups, with a regular free of charge project, offering them the chance to develop friendships and support networks, to learn new skills and improve their confidence, and to access advice, guidance and support.
