What If poems by Evelyn, Billie (H), Sara and Nicola

What if?

What if I could change the world?
What if I could make things change yet to everyone else it seemed the same.
What if I could turn back time and change times that I was mean to times I’m kind.
What if I could change a place to be peace at mind and know my daughter was safe.
What if I cold change the world from random raining to raining never.

Evelyn

What if?

This is a task we was asked to do we had to write a poem about what we would change in the world, instead of doing that I have chose to do a what if poem on a text I have found.

We can all say what we would like the world to be but we can only change ourselves and not the world.
We can change ourselves to make our own worlds a better place.
Here is my What If…….

As long as some suffer,
The river flows forever.

As long as there is pain,
The river flows forever.

As strong as a smile can be,
The river flows forever.

As long as you are with me,
The river flows forever.

What if I could be as strong as the river?
What I was the river?

Billie (H)

What if?

What if when you clicked your fingers what food you was thinking about magically appeared.
What if you could fly.
What if you could touch the sky.
What if people didn’t die.
What if we were half human and…

Sara

What if?

What if the world was filled with friendly faces that didn’t frown, but was willing to spend the time to say just a quick hello.
What if the world didn’t have Bush as the president, would we not have gone to war for an ignorant man who used to be on the wrong side of the law.
What if the whole world was coloured every colour of the rainbow, would racism still exist.
What if love was the only universal law that existed… Would be twisted and entwined into a beautiful happy existence.

Nicola
