Happy 119th Birthday Hornsey Road Baths
Young people working with All Change artists, Islington Museum and the local community, captured the spirit and history of Hornsey Road Baths in an evocative combined arts performance at Platform on the 26 July 2011. 119 years to the day since the original bathhouse and laundry opened to the public.Featuring interactive performance, visual arts, music, dance and a swimming gala, audiences were transported through time in this entertaining show. Contributors included Alsen Day Centre, local residents, Inspire! young parents, Bemerton Young Women’s Group, Platform Young Advisors and EC1 Music Project.
