Urban Arts Academy, Islington 2010 >
Urban Arts Academy is a creative training programme for young people aged 16-25 which mixes practical arts activities with project management skills. A group of young people participated in an intensive training programme in Spring 2010, working with a team of artists and project managers, and developed skills in Parkour, creative writing, music production, dance and digital visual arts. 2 young people achieved Bronze Arts Awards as part of the programme. A group of young people will be developing a series of ‘live’ projects as part of the second phase of the programme in 2010/11.
