Dear Anne, Islington 2010
All Change filmmaker Jaime Taylor, supported by former participants Keisha Riley Douglas and Lauren Matthews has delivered a filmmaking project at St. Joseph’s Primary School with Year 6 pupils to capture their annual Anne Frank project. This exemplary project enables children to learn and think about the story of Anne Frank and wider issues of discrimination and how hatred develops. Part of the project involved a trip to Amsterdam to visit Anne Frank’s house and other key historical sites. The children create poetry and artwork which they put together as an exhibition for their fellow pupils at the end of the summer term. The film will be shown at the Holocaust memorial event in January 2011 in Islington.
